My name is Nick Adams, I've been a strength & speed coach/trainer for over a decade. I've seen time and time again how important it is to have an experienced coach to help navigate the path to expedite your journey. I believe my path to coaching is what sets me apart from other coaches and trainers. I'm really excited to share my experiences with you.
I'm a teacher by trade but totally nerd out when it comes to coaching. My experiences have shaped my holistic approach to training and development of clients. I've been coaching teams and individuals to help reach their goals for almost thirteen years and over the past seven years I have taught physical education for all ages; from kindergarten to upper high school.
I've been extremely fortunate to have some elite experiences as a coach. I spent the summer of 2017 learning from the New York Yankee's Director of Player Health & industry leader, Eric Cressey. In 2021, I was able to learn from and work alongside the Sports Performance staff at the University of Massachusetts. That summer I worked primarily with the Hockey team, who were the reigning 2020 NCAA National Champions, under the direction of Brandon Wickett.
Throughout this whole time I was running my own strength & conditioning program at Quabbin Regional Middle High School. In 2020 I was awarded as the Massachusetts Coach of the Year by the National High School Strength Coaches Association. So far, I have been the only coach at a public school in Massachusetts to receive this award.
I've also experienced working hard and have experienced reaching those goals. As a college athlete with a passion for training I took an internship entering my senior year of college. The more I learned, the more my own training style had changed. At this point, my college career had been nothing much more than special teams. My senior year was a huge improvement- started all games on defense, tied the school record for interceptions returned for a touchdown and have one of the longest interceptions in school history. I credit much of my growth as an athlete to the improvement of my training methods.
Over the past thirteen years I've coaches thousands of training session and have logged over 5,000 hours coaching. All while dialing in my methods as a coach. The proof is in the pudding.
